Maternity bra fit guide

All Blossom bras are designed without the use of underwiring which can bruise the sensitive breast tissue during pregnancy. They are also designed to be extra supportive with wider, comfortable straps and soft cotton linings.

We recommend buying your maternity bra during the third month of pregnancy, bearing in mind that your underband measurement will continue to increase as your ribcage expands during pregnancy. Choose a maternity bra that fits on the TIGHTEST hook as you will need to loosen it as you grow.

Nursing bra fit guide

Underwiring can block milk ducts so all Blossom nursing bras are designed to be fully supportive using soft elastic in place of wire.

You should purchase a nursing bra towards the end of your pregnancy, around 3 to 4 weeks before the birth of your baby. Bear in mind that your cup size will increase by at least one size when the milk comes in and will fluctuate during breastfeeding, so allow a little extra room in the bra cup.

After a breastfeeding pattern has been established you may find that your nursing bra no longer fits and that a smaller size is needed - we recommend that you are fitted again a couple of months after the birth of your baby.
